PISTOIA – Roberto Carifi compirà gli anni Lunedì 11 settembre. Gli sarà dedicato un evento particolare, un Flash Mob che si terrà alle ore 19 sul Globo, a Pistoia. Il poeta, filosofo e traduttore è stato una voce importante nel panorama culturale italiano nella seconda metà del ‘900.
Carifi è stato un docente molto amato, ha insegnato al liceo scientifico Amedeo di Savoia. La sua attività editoriale e stata ricca, ha pubblicato per Le Lettere Le parole del pensiero (1995), Nomi del Novecento (2000), In difesa della filosofia (2001), Il gelo e la luce (2003), La solitudine del Buddha (2006), Frammenti per una madre (2007) Il maestro e la compassione (2008), Tibet (2011), Compassione (2012), Il monaco e la luce (2013), Madre (2014). Ha curato, sempre per Le Lettere, Il canto del dipartito di G. Trakl, Poesie di S. Weil e L’Arcangelico di G. Bataille, ed è inoltre ideatore della collana «Dal silenzio alla parola» all’interno della quale sono usciti i suoi Breviario e Il silenzio del Buddha.
